The table below outlines the knowledge and skills that should be covered within the Deaf Studies curriculum. Some aspects will be integrated into other lessons (PSHE, language, history and integration sessions). The third aspect of the Deaf Studies scheme is the promotion of a positive self identity as a Deaf person. Indicators of these attitudes and beliefs (which will be promoted through all teaching in the school) are outlined separately.
