• Deaf Sports Promotions (DSP) An independent organisation and a national Deaf sports website for UK and Ireland

• Early Support Programme includes downloadable materials for families and professionals including detailed protocol for monitoring deaf children's achievements and progress in key areas and a comprehensive information booklet about deafness.  Download pages from Family File in format to type information.

• Newborn Hearing Screening Programme is a way of screening newborn babies for deafness within the first few hours, or days, of life. It is being introduced in the UK in stages and should be available in all areas by the end of 2005.
