- Friends for Young Deaf People (FYD) merged with NDCS on November 1st 2002. This has resulted in the creation of the NDCS youth wing, providing a seamless service supporting families with deaf children from birth to 25.
National Deaf Children's Society exclusively dedicated to supporting all deaf children, young deaf people and their families. They run local groups so you can meet families with deaf children in your area. The website also includes downloadable publications including: Understanding Deafness, Hearing Aids, Unilateral Deafness, Communication with deaf children and young people, Sign Language and your deaf child, Playtime and deaf children, Education, Technology and many more.
SENSE A support group for people with hearing and sight difficulties and their families.
