• Friends for Young Deaf People (FYD) merged with NDCS on November 1st 2002.  This has resulted in the creation of the NDCS youth wing, providing a seamless service supporting families with deaf children from birth to 25.

• National Deaf Children's Society exclusively dedicated to supporting all deaf children, young deaf people and their families. 

  • Membership for professionals and parents: free of charge to parents and carers in the UK, and for the professionals who support them.

  • Local groups and online Parent place forum

  • Family weekends for newly diagnosed deaf children and deaf children with additional needs

  • A wide range of informative and accessible  publications which can be ordered free of charge or downloaded from the website.
