• British Deaf Association (BDA) the largest national charity run by Deaf people for Deaf people

• British Deaf History Society encourages the study of and foster an interest in Deaf History and encourages the preservation of records and material related to the Deaf and of historical value

• Council for the Advancement of Communication with Deaf People (CACDP) Promotes communication between deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind and hearing people by offering high quality nationally recognised assessments and accreditation in British Sign Language (BSL) and other forms of communication used by deaf people.

• Deaf@x wants to create a world in which deaf children and adults are able to communicate effectively with hearing people on an equal basis through human interaction and by Information & Communications Technology (ICT). 

• Deaf Sports Promotions (DSP) An independent organisation and a national Deaf sports website for UK and Ireland

• Federation of Deaf People (FDP) a voluntary organisation that campaigns for Deaf people's rights, funded by donations and membership

• Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert severely and profoundly deaf people to sounds they cannot hear such as the doorbell, alarm clock, smoke alarm and many other sounds

• Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD) offers a variety of services including Family Groups, Drop-in Days, Teenage Groups, Hard of Hearing Clubs and Equipment Needs Assessment

• RNID is the largest charity working to change the world for the UK's 9 million deaf and hard of hearing people

• Typetalk is the national telephone relay service which enables deaf, deafblind, deafened, hard of hearing and speech-impaired people to enjoy the benefits of the telephone, communicating with hearing people anywhere in the world.
