Weather can change everyday.  Places around the world have different weather.  The weather in one month can be different from another month. 

Climate is the normal weather in a place over a long time.  There are 5 main climates in the world.  Each climate has different patterns of rainfall, temperature, sunshine and wind.  

The red line is called the Equator.  Climates near the Equator are hotter than climates in the north and south.
