St Lucia has a tropical climate. 

It has lots of mountains and forest. 

The Pitons Mountains in St Lucia

These mountains are called The Pitons.
The tropical forests have lots of different plants

Many different plants and animals live in the tropical forests.
The volcano

There is a volcano in Soufriere.
Castries, the capital

The capital is Castries.
 

The temperature is 
about 28 ° C.

It is dry from January to April.  The rainy season is from from May to October.
