Bell A thought bubble
A stamp of Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell was born in 1847.  He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland but moved to Canada.  Later he lived in America.

Bell's wife was deaf.  

 

In 1876 he invented the first telephone.  He died in 1922.
