Haydn Musical notes

Joseph Haydn was born in 1732.  His parents were poor.  He was a choirboy in Vienna in Austria.

Later he taught singing and wrote music.  

In 1761 he worked for a rich family.  He wrote lots of music.  He wrote over a hundred symphonies.  He also wrote music for string quartets and the piano.

Haydn died in 1809.
