School Uniform
We can look at photos to find out about the uniform.

Royal Cross School

In the 1970s girls and boys had different uniforms.

Girls wore

  • a white shirt 

  • A blue tie with yellow stripes 

  • A navy blue or grey jumper

  • A navy blue skirt

  • The school blazer was navy blue.  It had a yellow logo 'RCS' on the pocket

  • The summer dress had blue and white stripes

Boys wore

  • a grey shirt

  • a maroon tie

  • a grey jumper

  • The school blazer was maroon.  It had the yellow 'RCS' logo on the pocket

The new school logo is on the sweatshirt.

1990-

Boys and girls wear the same colours.

  • a white or light blue shirt

  • a royal blue jumper or sweatshirt

  • black or grey trousers or skirt

In the summer girls can wear a blue and white summer dress.  Boys can wear shorts.
