Mary I 1553 - 1558

Mary was born  in 1516.  She was Henry VIII's daughter.  Her mother was Catherine of Aragon.   Mary I was a Catholic.  She became queen when Edward died.  She was Queen of England from 1553 - 1558.  She made England Catholic again. Mary married King Philip II of Spain in 1554.  She had no children. Elizabeth became queen when Mary died.  Back to the Tudor Tree
