Ostrich

Ostrich

This is an Ostrich.  It has small wings so it can't fly.

It lives on grassland in Africa.  They often live with zebras.

Ostriches eat plants.

It is the heaviest, tallest and fastest bird.  It is about 2.7 metres tall.  It can run at 60 mph.  This is like a car on motorway.

It lays very big eggs.  They are about 18 cm by 14 cm.  These are the biggest eggs in the world.
