Green Turtle

This is a Green Turtle.  It lives in tropical seas.

The Green Turtle lays its eggs in the sand.  They lay 100 to 200 eggs.

Sea turtles eat plants.  Turtles have many predators.  Gulls, crabs, snakes, rats and vultures eat baby turtles on the sand.  Sharks, needlefish and dolphins eat turtles in the sea.

Other turtles live in freshwater.
