Freshwater Turtles

A Snapping Turtle

This is a Snapping Turtle.  It lives in freshwater.  They like to go in the mud.

Snapping Turtles eat animals, fish and plants.

A Spotted Turtle

This is a Spotted Turtle.  It lives in streams, swamps and ponds.  It likes mud.  They walk from water to water.

Spotted Turtles eat plants and animals. They like worms, insect larvae and amphibian eggs.
