A Bush
Do not pick wild flowers in woods or fields.  These flowers were in a garden.

A bush is a plant.  The brown is a bud.

the leaves make food

Leaves make food for the plant.  

They use sunlight, air and water.

This is called photosynthesis.

 

The roots are underground.  They take up water from the soil. They help the plant stand up too.

This bush is called a rhododendron.  This one has red flowers.  Flowers are made of petals.

The stamen are long and thin.  They are inside the flower.  They make pollen.
